Kelloggs cereal couponing...

So I did my first major couponing trip! Thanks to my sister-in-law Stephanie I learned about this deal! Thanks again:)

Prior to trip I joined Kelloggs.com and was able to print off a bunch of coupons.
Here is what I purchase at Safeway...

I bought 2 of each kind of cereal. I had to do 2 different transactions and used 3 coupons in each.

Transaction # 1 I payed $10.45 saved $11.60
Transaction $ 2 I payed $10.45 saved $11.40
Total Payed $20.90 saved $23.00

Savings of 52%

Ontop of saving more then I spent I also received what couponers call catalina. This is coupons that print out based on what you purchase. So on each transaction I received $12 towards to movies. (Buy 5 Kelloggs products receive 1 more ticket). Also, 4 of the boxes of cereal I bought have codes on the inside. 4 codes= either $5 movie concession money or for a $5 gas gift card. We are choosing to do the concessions. Yay free date!!!

Also, I noticed on the Crunchy Nut Cereal there is a $1/2 coupon to be used in the future. So I got 2 of those. I hope this cereal is good because I have it all to myself:) (Chase has a peanut allergy)

This is just what I needed to get me pumped for couponing! And Chase was with me so he saw how great it was. So not only did we get more back then what we spent, we also have cereal to last us awhile. This is awesome!

Not bad for a beginner, not bad at all:)

SoLiDs!!!

Ryder is now a solid eater!!! Well he starter Monday, June 6, 2011 so I'm only 10 days behind no big deal. (put dates so when I finally get to his baby book i have it recorded, - bad mommy!)

we started him out (and are still doing) rice cereal mixed with breast milk. I realized very quickly to not make that much:) He gets kinda bored of it. One of his favorite things to do it to spit right when the spoon gets to his mouth! Hehehe

Here are some pictures (in reverse order) of his first time eating. ENJOY!
(PS does anyone know how to turn pictures on blogger?)

Here are some videos of his first time, not the most exciting videos...

So much to blog so little time...

I have been slacking on the blog so now I have a million things to blog about, but don't know where to start...

Also, I don't want to a massive blog including everything so it is very lame to read. So I guess the next week or two I'll do a blog a day.

For now I'll just do a little update.

Summer is so much fun! We get to see Chase a lot more he doesn't feel like a stranger. He works about16 hours a week at MPS. He also works 8 hours a week at Dominos, but Chase finally was able to put in his notice to quit! We are so excited. Chase hated it there. It was a terrible environment, put wear and tear on our car and on Chase's back. Plus the reason he was still working there was so Ryder could have insurance and Ryder already maxed out his wellness visit coverage. It has been a good job and has helped us a lot, but we don't need it anymore.

Ryder is 19 weeks now! He is doing great! At his 4 month appointment he was 16 pounds and 25 1/4 inches long. He started solids (if you can call it solid) and is as fun as ever. he loves to smile and laugh. He is so funny! He is teething. I figured it was happening, but his Dr actually showed me the little speck of tooth so it made it official. Nursing is going a lot better. I had 2 clogged milk ducts back to back and I wouldn't wish one on anyone. It is so painful! So glad it is over.

Spit Happens...

Ryder is so funny! Last weekend he has learned how to spit, it is hilarious! He loves to do it and does it all the time. Half of the time he has spit all over his chin. I'll have to post a couple of pics. He is so much fun! I love him so much. I am so blessed and I don't know what I have done to deserve my wonderful family!

Smarty pants!

Ryder is so smart! Last night his Aunt Jen was holding him so he was sitting on the dining room table. We have a mirror on the wall next to it. He looked in the mirror and saw me. I could tell he was looking at me so I said Hi and waved to him in the mirror. Then he turned around and looked at me to see if I was still behind him. Then he turned back around to see me in the mirror. What a smarty pants! I guess he knows how to find his mama! It was the cutest thing.

*** I hope this makes sense otherwise it's not that fun of a story.
